Field Service Engineer
Within the service department, as a Field Service Engineer, you are jointly responsible for repairing the (parts of) machines and/or repairing software so that it can be used again as soon as possible. You analyze the cause of malfunctions and solve them, carry out repairs and make various adjustments where necessary.
Failures can occur within all specialisms (hardware, software, mechanics, processes and tooling) and can have multiple causes. You identify and link commercial and technical (improvement) opportunities back to your manager.
In addition, you generate reports to the customer and process order data for invoicing purposes. Ordering small material and writing off parts in the warehouse is also part of your job.
You are the point of contact for the customer and the business card of the company. Since the company is an international player, you regularly carry out your work abroad
You have at least a completed MBO education, in electrical engineering or mechatronics;
At least several years of relevant experience in a similar position;
A good command of the Dutch and English language, both orally and in writing;
-Knowledge of the German and French language is an advantage
-A strong affinity with technology
-Willing to travel
-A master in analyzing and solving malfunctions
-In possession of driver's license B
