For our client in Eindhoven, we are looking for a fine mechanical bench worker within the tooling department. Within this department, the main task is the pre-, post- and/or finishing of products that have undergone machining. Do you have knowledge of machining techniques and can you work and think within a quality system? Then this position might be for you!

As a fine mechanical machinist, you will independently perform machining operations on supplied materials and/or products using the production equipment and tools provided for that purpose, based on supplied drawings.
-Devising and working out auxiliary tools to maximise product efficiency depending on the complexity of the machining method.
-Executing precise manual machining or assembly work, where you are directly responsible for quality/process control of the work and finished product.
-You think and act proactively in terms of improving machining methods, with the aim of achieving an optimal production process with the shortest possible lead time.
-You are responsible for setting up the workplace and adjusting the machines and tools, as well as for carrying out the machining process of (production) activities.
-Independent co-determination, based on insight and experience the input of the problem approach and work sequence within the assignment involving a high risk of failure such as product failure and/or damage.
-You have completed education at VMBO/MBO level in the direction of Mechanical Engineering, Fine Mechanics or equivalent.-Extensive knowledge of machining techniques in a wide range of material types.
-You have sound knowledge and experience of working with measuring instruments and shape and plate tolerances.
-Self-reliant, proactive, accurate and a flexible attitude.
-Good communication and social skills and able to work as part of a team.
